The Property

A Victorian mid terraced house in Sneyd Park with an existing extension and open plan living space.

Customers Brief (summary)

Various building projects – only carpentry based ones listed

Replace sections of the kitchen
Fit-out small bedroom (approx. 6’6″ x 10′) in bespoke furniture to give maximum space for daughter (similar to 2nd bedroom also)
Make alcove units for separate lounge
Make alcove wardrobes for master bedroom

Our Design (summary)

Master bedroom alcove wardrobes and lounge cabinets to be a traditional style, with routered fluting and ornate detail.

Bedrooms 2 & 3 to be fully fitted in a framed shaker style. The smaller 3rd bedroom to be vaulted allowing for space saving stairs, up to a loft style double bed, with display shelving above, a double wardrobe and bookcase below. The 2nd bedroom to have fitted wardrobes. Bedrooms 2 & 3 to have a desk with cupboard and drawer, floating bookcase, storage window seat and framed dressing room mirror, all bespoke.

Summary Of Works

We had previously re-sited the existing kitchen but some compromises were made so as to re-use the old kitchen. These units to be replaced were removed, other units moved, alterations made and the newly supplied units fitted, to create a classy kitchen with a symmetrical look. Additional works completed the look.
The small bedroom ceiling was removed and vaulted into the loft space, with additional works (plastering, electrics etc)
Fitted loft bed with staircase, desks, shelving, bookcases, window seats and wardrobes were all made bespoke to fit the spaces of the rooms, all built in-situ
The alcove cabinets and master bedroom wardrobes were made bespoke to fit the spaces, in a traditional style to compliment the decor and style of the rooms.
